Detached house with 4 bedrooms, in the heart of the village of Monticello, 4 km from Ile Rousse

This detached house, dating back to 1660, is located in the heart of Monticello, a typical Balagne village with preserved charm. Its historic buildings cluster around the parish church, which you can explore by wandering its cobbled streets and passing under vaulted passageways beneath some of the houses. On the village's higher ground, new neighborhoods have developed, including a sports complex (swimming pool, tennis courts, equestrian center, shooting range, mini-golf, and football pitch). Public parking is available 50 meters away in the village square, where you will also find a grocery store and a restaurant open year-round.The house is ideally suited for a family holiday with its four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The covered terrace adjoining the living/dining room and kitchen offers a lovely view of the church steeple and the sea. You will be located 4 km from L'Île-Rousse, where you will find all the shops and services you need for your stay. You will appreciate the tranquil, Mediterranean charm of the town, as well as its beach right in the town center with its lagoon-blue water. The Balagne region has many delightful surprises in store for you, from visits to authentic villages and seaside getaways to swimming in the river, water sports, and gastronomic discoveries. The micro-region is full of hiking trails, many of which are accessible to beginners or children. This gîte is undoubtedly the perfect base for a varied stay in the heart of the Balagne.
