Thanks to its thick walls, the cottage benefits from natural insulation, keeping it pleasantly cool in summer.Sitting in the shade of the oak tree on the terrace, with its exceptional view of the sea and the Gulf of Sagone, your meals will be all the more enjoyable!The cottage benefits from both a very peaceful setting and proximity to the center of Cargèse (5 kilometers), shops, and the beach. The village of Cargèse, perched above the sea, bears the mark of a 17th-century Greek colony whose influence is still evident as you stroll through its charming, narrow streets. There you'll find two churches, one Greek and the other Latin, facing each other and overlooking the Mediterranean.Nearby, you can explore the Gulf of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site encompassing the Scandola Nature Reserve and the Calanques of Piana, as well as hike the Mare e Monte trail.
