Pianottoli Caldarello is a pretty town between sea and maquis located in the extreme south of Corsica. Ideally located for visiting southern Corsica, the village is about twenty minutes from Bonifacio, 30 minutes from Porto-Vecchio and 12 minutes from Figari Airport.
Absolutely to discover, a few kilometers from Pianottoli Caldarello, the famous Lion of Roccapina, a natural sculpture in pink granite that dominates at an altitude of 144m and gives the impression of a lion lying with a Genoese tower as a crown. The lion seems to guard the tower of Roccapina which overlooks a beautiful sandy beach within walking distance.
Pianottoli Caldarello also has a charming little marina where it’s nice to relax . On the walking side, the Bruzzi trail is a must-see with, as a bonus, access to pretty little less crowded beaches.
