Porto-Vecchio

Nicknamed “the city of salt”, Porto-Vecchio is today the third largest city in Corsica in terms of activities. Very popular for its paradisiacal beaches such as Palombaggia beach and Santa Giulia beach , every summer, Porto-Vecchio turns into a small island Saint-Tropez where it is good to live and where it’s good to stroll in the alleys of the historic center.
Located close to the prehistoric sites of Tappa and Ceccia, the Genoese fortifications, and also close to the “Aiguilles de Bavella” and the sumptuous Îles Cerbicales, Porto-Vecchio offers an important diversity of activities and discoveries.
On the events side, Porto-Vecchio is hosting a comedy festival as well as a jazz festival in September.
