Porticcio

Located on the south shore of the Gulf of Ajaccio, Porticcio is a seaside resort very popular with tourists.
With its large expanses of white sand like the sumptuous beach of Mare e Sole, its many activities and restaurants, Porticcio allows visitors to spend a pleasant stay, close to a large city, while enjoying a great environment, seaside, with the mountains behind.
Many hiking trails are close to Porticcio, such as the Mare e Monti trail and the Mare a Mare trail, both arriving in the town or the Penitentiary path which offers the opportunity to walk along the beach to the Genoese tower of Capitello.
As for cultural visits, from Porticcio, you must visit Ajaccio, the imperial city, the Coti-Chiavari penitentiary or the Saint-Cezaire church in Grosseto-Prugna.
