With more than 20 editions organized so far the festival of wood and forest organized in Vezzani is an unmissable event linked to nature.
It is organized by the association A Leva every year during the second half of July in the region of Center-Corse and more precisely on two sites : in the village of Vezzani and in the forest of Padula.

Its objective is simple: to unite the different operators in the wood industry around a common good, the plant heritage and nature in Corsica.
Initially celebrated over a single day the Vezzani Wood and Forest Festival has evolved ove the years in order to offer visitors meetings over two days, for a weekend.
This change follows the will of the organizers to enrich the event with more stands, animations and demonstrations.

Among the stands are notably numerous associations such as for example the bat protection association, the association of mushroom enthusiasts, the Environment Office and many others ...
Also note that there are a lot of activities such as pony rides, a cana gym course, hikes and conferences for young and old.
Finally, do not miss the lumberjacks competition as well as the works created on site by wood carvers with a chainsaw.
