Comic book festival in Bastia

Created in 1994 and therefore with almost thirty editions to its credit, the BD festival in Bastia gives every year, for several days in April, an appointment for comic book aficionados at the Una Volta cultural center, at the museum, at the theater, at the central library as well as at the Alb'or media library in Bastia.

This international meeting dedicated to comics and illustration attracts around thirty authors and illustrators not only from Corsica but from everywhere in the world so they can converse and exchange with an audience made up of young and old.
Its objective: to gather around the ninth art and to appreciate its richnesses and diversities as well as galvanize the town of Bastia.

On the program of this international comic book festival in Bastia: dedications, exchanges, guided tours, workshops, ephemeral bookstores, cinema sessions, but above all, fifteen exhibitions of a board of comics, writing in Corsican language but also exhibitions in various forms (monographic or collective, around subjects for reflection, scenographic works ...).
