In Balagne, the 'Pieve d'Olmia' valley has a rich and authentic natural and architectural heritage which the organizers of the Calenzana Meetings wish to enhance through music.
Thus every year in August, several classical and contemporary music concerts are organized in several villages in the Balagne region.

As a cultural event that is now essential to the region and to the Calenzana village, the Calenzana meeting intend to be a place or even a link of exchange between the artists, the organizers and the spectators who come, each year, in large numbers to attend the harmonious performances planned by the organizers.
The program thus pleasantly combines classical and contemporary music, without forgetting the emblematic polyphonies, the romantic and the baroque; all in a pleasant and idyllic setting, between sea and mountains.

In February 2020, the Calenzana meetings took on the aspect of winter meetings with, on the program: an academy of traditional songs and music as well as concerts.
