The region of Bastia

Bastia deserves your attention !
For any type of activities, you might go to Saint-Nicolas square, surrounded by palm trees and plane trees. It could be compared to a
meeting point where friends meet each other at the end of the day. As
for the cultural aspects, the city is dotted with several baroque
churches where the marble sculptures mix with purple and golden
paintings in trompe l'oeil.
The region of Balagne

A valley deserving your visit
Surrounded by wild zones, almost arid, the Balagne is sitting apart from the other Corsican regions.
It's a sort of green temple with centenary olive trees located on immaculate sand dunes. Its wild coasts open onto white sandy beaches and turquoise sea.
It, undoubtedly deserves your visit.

The region of Centre-Corse

The geographic heart of Corsica
It's a vast lacustrine region with several glacial cirques, composed by many needles and the highest peaks (Rotondo, Cinto, Monte d'Oro)...
Located in the center of the Parc Naturel de la Corse, this region offers many hiking possibilities in the Lariccio pine forests and in the oak and chestnut groves. There are also the trout fishing sites in the mountain streams and the rivers (Golo, Tavignano) where you can also go kayaking.

A contrast land
Within a 40 km radius, this Corsica region offers the opportunity to go from the wonderful beaches of Sagone and Cargese to the green laricio pine forests of Aïtone and Valdoniello, close to Evisa.
The western facade, composed by many gulfes and coves would seduce the people fond of fishing while the thrill seekers would be pleased by the reddening rocks in the Calanches de Piana.

The region of Grand Ajaccio

A setting between sea and mountains
With a wonderful 17 km gulf caught between the mountain, this region could be compared to a huge seawater lake hemmed with beaches and coves.
At dawn, with a blue-toned veil concealing the peaks it's very seducing. The region is also unavoidable at twilight, when the sun is setting in a fleeting blaze.
As for the nature, there are many lovely villages in the nearby valleys, with rocky ridges and maquis.
