Cap Corse Marinas

During your holidays in Corsica what would you think about going to discover the different marinas and small fishing ports spread all over the emblematic region of Cap Corse in North Corsica? In the North of Bastia, you will be amazed at each step of your trip in Corsica!

See the amazing inlets and harbours of Cap Corse ...

Wherever narrow river valleys reach the sea, small harbours and simple anchorages have sprung up over the centuries. Their views are out over the sea to the Italian coastline in the distance.

Starting at the old harbour of Cardo, now Bastia, there are no less than twenty-two such delightful small harbours, Pietranera, Lavasina, Miomo, Erbalunga, Sagro, Sisco, Pietracorbara, Portigliolo, Cagnano, Santa-Severa, Meria, Macinaggio, Barbaggio, Tollare, Centuri, Morsiglia, Pino, Minerbio, Giottani, Canari, Nonza and Farinole (Negro).

Each village of the Cap Corse has its special charm. The Mediterranean may be whipped up into a heavy winter swell and waves crash and foam on the narrow beaches, yet they are protected from the full fury of the elements by headlands.
Landing points for boats are set back in tiny bays that stretch deep inland. Bigger craft may be moored higher up creeks and inlets, protected by occasional rudimentary pontoons or small sea-moles.

In summer, these isolated beaches and landing points are wonderful and private places to fish or bathe or bask in the sun, picnic baskets to hand...
